Content Managed
A content managed website is simply a website that uses a Content Management System (CMS) to allow you to update site content (text and photographs), directly online, from any location, without any specialist website coding knowledge. With a CMS website you are completely in charge of changing your own content, publishing Blog and News articles and adding and deleting new pages.
We would recommend a CMS for your web site if you need to add content regularly, keep your content current or change content regularly. CMS systems can also help to rank highly in Google when content is regularly updated.
We offer a fully managed CMS solution, an Intermediate solution or a Bare Bones solution. With our Fully Managed solution, we will be happy to add and update content on your behalf, up to a fixed amount of work per month. This assumes you provide the content for us to add. Our intermediate solution allows you to add simple things such as news articles and blog entries, whilst we can update page content or add and remove other page to your requirements. Our Bare Bones solution leaves it up to you to add and update all content.
The CMS system runs on our server so you don’t need to install any additional software or apps on you PC or tablet and it's protected by a secure password login.
We specialise in using the well regarded and innovative Concrete5 CMS system, which our clients find easily to use and intuitive to work with. If you can use a word processor you can certainly use Concrete5 to manage your website!
Support
If you do have problems we are only at the end of a phone or email and have no problem helping you out as part and of our hosting service. We will only charge you if you require additional design changes or new functionality for your website and we will always agree the costs upfront.
